Grocery Store Shops: OK

Grocery store shops! Observe various aspects of location, such as produce, meat/seafood, deli, etc.

SHOP FEE: $10 for report

REIMBURSEMENT: up to $10 for your grocery purchase!

HOURS: anytime between 10am - 7pm

DAYS: any day of the week

CONDUCTING THE SHOPS:

• IF LOCATION HAS A FUEL CENTER: Observe cleanliness, interact with the Partner on duty, make a small purchase of soda or candy to obtain a receipt. This is included in the $10 reimbursement.

• You will observe cleanliness of every department.

• This assignment requires you to provide a short narrative of your experience, including clear explanations for any questions answered ‘No’. Be prepared to observe and comment on the following (the narrative will not be more than 300 characters.)

o Partner customer service (smile, eye contact, tone of voice, body language, attentiveness, etc.)

o Store environment (cleanliness/organization of the store/displays, products properly labeled and stocked)

o Department interactions (partner availability, interaction, and knowledge)

o Checkout (cashier interaction, product rung up correctly and in a timely manner)
