Job interview Shop - Pre Qualification

Job interviews -- phone and in-person

This is a shop series that requires you to interview for up to ten entry-level jobs (e.g., cashier, server, salesperson) in your area and report on the process. Earn $30 for each job inquired about, plus a minimum of $60.00 per phone interview; $230 per in-person interview.

The job titles you are applying for will be for the following types of positions: server, cashier, customer service associate, retail associate, salesperson, and crew member. No job will require a college degree or more than basic experience. Please do not request this shop if you have management experience beyond a single management position or a college degree beyond a bachelor's degree.

IMPORTANT

-    You must be available to travel to inquire about a series of jobs (10) in one day. 

-    While inquiring about the jobs, you must be available to fill out an application on the spot if this is offered or fill out an application online if that is the requirement.  Whenever possible, applications must be submitted for every job inquired about.

-    You must be available for job interviews in the Houston, TX area by phone or in person over the next 30 to 60 days. 

-    You must be willing to provide your resume and communicate with employers about job applications. 

PROCESS

This shop will take place in two stages:

-    Stage 1: Submit your resume information and complete a brief biographical survey.

-    Stage 2 [if selected]: Travel to the businesses listed below to inquire about a series of jobs (10) in one day ($300 payment for all ten).  Addresses for the businesses will be provided when the shops are assigned.

-    Starbucks 

-    dd’s DISCOUNTS 

While inquiring about the jobs, you must be available to fill out an application on the spot if this is offered or fill out an application online if that is the requirement.  Whenever possible, applications must be submitted for every job inquired about.

Respond to and complete employer requests for phone and in-person interviews for up to ten jobs in your local area over the next one to two months. 

You will continue in each application process until you are offered a role or rejected.
