Michigan - Scrap Metal Recycling Mystery Shop
Cleaning up around your home?
Sell your scrap metal, beverage cans, food cans, anything metal, you will earn $25 for your report AND you will be paid for the scrap metal by the location you visit! If you don't have enough items, ask your neighbors for theirs!
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS: You can bring cans or any type of metal, but it must be at least 5-10lbs. Client's website explains what metals they buy: https://www.omnisource.com/what-we-buy/
Brass: fixtures, lamps, décor
Copper: plumbing/tubing, valves, electric motors, insulated wire, extension cords, Christmas lights
Stainless Steel: pots, pans, sinks, BBQ grills
Steel & Iron: appliances (AC units, stoves, fridges, water heaters, washers/dryers), auto parts*, batteries (select sites), cast iron, railings, patio furniture, farm machinery, mowers, wheels, fencing, cable, and grills

Depending on how busy the location is the shop will take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. If you find that the location is open on Saturday, you may change the due date from your shop log. Just click on ‘Change Date” under the Shop ID.

SHOP FEE: $25
TIMES TO CONDUCT: any open - you will be responsible for checking the hours
DAYS TO CONDUCT: on your due date/check with location for open days/hours
