One issue that everyone seems to be challenged with is recruiting and retaining workers, whether they be W-2 or 1099. CME is excited to welcome Michelle Lueck, SVP, Growth Strategy, at Unboxed Technology to share her insights and experience in finding and retaining a good work force to help inspire solutions for attendees.
Michelle is one of nearly a dozen presenters who will share a wide range of topics to meet the varied needs of our industry-diverse membership, including US Air Force Lt. Colonel Dustin Pawlak. Dustin has spent years training, educating, and commanding military and civilian members teaching leadership principles, discipline, international relationships, and etiquette.
Who are those people on your team who are your biggest sources of risk? Professional Hacker Bryan Seely leads a session, "Which Employees Are Hackers Targeting First? And What You Can About It!" on Monday, October 10 at CME 2023.
Orlando Health's Dr. Leonard Hock will also join us in New Orleans with a dive into the intricacies of aging and end of life. Dr. Hock believes that life is good, and that life should be long. How long should it be? How do you determine your personal life length? With over 20 years of experience in palliative care Dr. Hock will explore what living in old age looks like at its best, and what steps to take now.
Do you have the expertise, the passion, the experience, and the vision, but feel frustrated because you don't hear 'YES' nearly as often as you should? In this session Dr. Laura Sicola, founder of Vocal Impact Productions, will reveal the questions you didn't know you needed to ask to discover where your own communication style may be the roadblock keeping you from getting the buy-in you need to get the results you want. Discover how to better align your message content and delivery to maximize credibility and get to YES.
With shifting personnel and changing priorities it can be hard to keep up with legislation that impacts your company. MSPA Americas Lobbyist Russ Hollrah, of Hollrah LLC, will provide a legislative update in this can't miss session. He will discuss how to navigate and comply with an ever-expanding web of laws governing workforces, with special focuses on developments in California, New York, and Seattle. Looking forward he will talk about what to expect for 2023 in both the Executive Branch and in Congress after the November elections.
Jill Spencer, Associate Director at React CX, will demonstrate how to make the Return on Investment case easy! She will outline her approach towards proving ROI to her clients over the past 10 years, highlight the importance of achieving trusted advisor status, and present recent case studies which will show delegates how to use their data to make a more compelling ROI argument. You'll be sure to want to catch this session!
AJ Tusa and Anna Tusa, New Orleans Restaurateurs, have seen the workforce change over the years on the frontlines of their restaurants. Employee needs have changed while customer expectations have increased. Customers don't care about the newest trend on social media, they care about service! How do you navigate this everchanging challenge of management? Come listen to their session on Managing Employees in the Tik Tok Age to find out!
MSPA Americas will be sharing more about each speaker over the next few weeks as the anticipation for a great conference builds. In the meantime, you can begin your registration by clicking on the button below.
